Over it’s history Radio West fife has always seen itself as being part of the community. 2019 has been another exciting year where we have been able to work with groups throughout the area to bring a smile to West Fife.
Our roadshows have seen us out and about at local galas and other events from Touch to Culross. Providing music, announcements and a lot of fun we have enjoyed ourselves and have had great feedback on what we do. And this year we have entertained all ages from the Rotary Club’s “Kids Out” day on a Sunny Wednesday in Dalgety Bay with kids from all over West Fife to the Culross Farmers Market and Villiage fair which is always a highlight of the Radio West Fife Calendar.
Throughout the year we have been able to support new music and unsigned acts from our area by giving them a chance to get some radio play and do live sessions. Alongside the many community groups and individuals who came into the studio to tell us, and our listeners what they were up to.
2019 also saw Radio West Fife make further progress in our ambition to expand our service and become an FM broadcaster following the successful submission of our licence application to OFCOM, expect some news regarding the outcome of this during 2020.
If you want Radio West Fife to help your organisation, band or any other event please get in touch and we’ll help put you at the heart of West Fife Life.
