Timeline PhotosMissing man Arran Adey/Swift

Officers are appealing for the public’s assistance to trace a man reported missing from Cowdenbeath.

Arran Adey is believed to have been in the Burntisland area on Friday, 15 October, but may have been in the Restalrig area of Edinburgh on Sunday, 17 October. He is also known to use the last name Swift.

The 35-year-old has links to west Fife including, Burntisland, Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly, Ballingry and Kirkcaldy, as well as Edinburgh.

On Sunday, 17 October, officers searched Binn Hill, Burntisland, as an area Arran has been known to frequent.

There are concerns for his welfare and officers are eager to trace his current whereabouts.

Arran is described as around 5ft 10ins tall, with short brown hair. It is not known what he was wearing when last seen.

Inspector Steven Hoggan said: “We have a number of police resources looking for Arran and we are eager to ensure he is safe.

“We are working with colleagues in Edinburgh as Arran has links to both the Restalrig and Lochend areas in the east of the city.

“I’d ask anyone who has seen, or spoken, to Arran since Sunday, 17 October, or who knows of his current whereabouts, to contact police as soon as possible.”

Those with information should contact Police Scotland via 101 and quote incident number 1287 of 16 October 2021.

Only 13 days to go until our Volunteers will have completed their return Journeys across the Forth Road Bridge. All to raise much needed Funds for our Community Radio Station, to help us reach our Target to get FM Broadcasting underway to Dunfermline and West Fife.
Dunfermline and West Fife would benefit by having its own FM Community Radio Station . We already broadcast online, but now have an FM License so that we can reach more of you in OUR AREA.
Help us to bring the Radio West Fife Experience to more of You, Young , Mature, and Everyone in between.

RADIO WEST FIFE FUNDRAISING FORTH ROAD BRIDGE WALK 2021

14 Days to go before our Volunteers do the return Walk across this Iconic Bridge
The view is Magnificent - They are sure to come back with a Blister or two - but the photos afterwards will tell the Tale of a Journey well made.
The Dunfermline and West Fife Area would benefit greatly from an FM /Online Community Radio Station. It is an expanding area, with lots of new homes, and 16 outlying villages. So hard to keep everyone united and in the " KNOW" about What's Happening everywhere else. An FM Community Radio Station would reach so many more people than a purely online one can, and would bring access to Local Information, Local Entertainment and Local Support for so many, for whom these facilities are inaccessible at the Moment.
RADIO WEST FIFE HAS BEEN AWARDED AN FM LICENSE. We want to be able to broadcast on FM by Easter 2022
To do so, we need Your Help . We need You to go to www.justgiving.com/rwfForthRoadBridgeWalk2021 and Donate whatever you can. East Fife has its own Community FM/Online Radio Station. It is time and possible for West Fife to have one too.
