Fife Council has lifted some of the restrictions which have been in place at recycling centres.

You can now dispose of white goods and small electrical appliances.

Bookings still have to be made online in advance.

Visits should still be by one person so they should only bring waste that they can dispose of unaided.

From next Monday 10th August you will also be able to book more visits than at present.

The council say, "Bookings can be made for up to 3 times in 7 days. This will be monitored for fair use and waste crime."

The recycling centres which are currently open are: Dunfermline, Glenrothes,.Kirkcaldy, Lochgelly, St Andrews, Pittenweem, Dalgety Bay, Methil, Ladybank and Cupar.

Check the Fife Council website for further information.
